JOB DESCRIPTION

 

POSITION: CONSTRUCTION TIMEKEEPER

LOCATION: MARSHALL, MI


OBJECTIVE

Commercial Contracting Corporation is urgently looking to hire a Construction Timekeeper that will be responsible for accurately tracking, verifying, and recording daily labor hours for field personnel. This role ensures that all labor hours are correctly coded to the appropriate project, phase, and cost code each day by reviewing timesheets, daily reports, and data collected through the system or other timekeeping software. This is a full-time temporary position (3-4 months) that will report to the project site location in Marshall, Michigan. This position will report to the Project Manager.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Input employee time into timesheets program.
  • Check for discrepancies.
  • Investigate time errors and make manual changes to system or add time as needed.
  • Maintain documentation for employee files.
  • Collect and distribute paperwork going to and from employees in the field as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.


CORE COMPETENCIES

  • At least 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Work effectively as a team member, applying troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring effective interaction.
  • U.S. citizenship (either by birth or naturalization).
