Your Role:
As a Payroll Specialist at WES Construction Corp., you will work directly with our Office Manager and Treasurer to ensure payroll and related tasks are completed with accuracy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately complete weekly payroll for 65+ employees, including time verification
- Coordinate with subcontractors to collect and report certified payroll
- Support monthly reconciliation of accounts
- Lead onboarding and offboarding of employees, ensuring accurate reporting
- Provide general administrative support to leadership and staff
- Support miscellaneous office tasks
We are seeking a candidate with:
- 2+ years of payroll experience
- Construction industry experience is a plus
- Union payroll experience is a plus
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
This is a part time role based in Halifax, MA. Initially, position will be 20-25 hours per week. Specific schedule to be discussed with qualified candidates. Potential for transition to full-time role in the future.
