DescriptionWe are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Construction Project Manager Assistant to join our team on a 2-year temporary assignment. In this role, you will provide essential support to the Project Manager to ensure the seamless execution of construction projects from start to finish. Upon project completion, there is potential for reassignment to a different department based on your skills, performance, and interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the project manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, track expenses, and report on key metrics to the project manager and stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed according to specifications and safety standards.
- Translate in English/Korean and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and project teams.
- Assist in resolving project-related issues and conflicts in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide administrative support to the project manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project files.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, techniques, and regulations.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt, with the goal of transitioning to a different department within the organization at the conclusion of the construction project.
QualificationsQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a construction-related role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be bilingual in both Korean and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
