Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee high-end custom home projects in the Duxbury area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction, excellent project management skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage all phases of custom home construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating timelines with all stakeholders to ensure timely progress.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and monitor project budgets, authorize expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Enforce strict quality control standards, conducting regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets company and industry standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction project management, with a focus on custom homes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of residential construction processes, building codes, and regulations in Massachusetts.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a track record of managing successful construction teams.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
