Construction Instructor – (Part-Time, Day and/or Evenings) – Workforce Programs

Location: Adult Workforce Education (Naples and/or Immokalee area)
 
Qualifications:

1. Experience or background in the construction industry (residential, commercial, or industrial).
2. Preferably with teaching/training experience and/or experience in online teaching or learning.
3. Proficiency with technology is strongly encouraged.

Description:
We are seeking knowledgeable and motivated part-time instructors with hands-on construction experience to teach introductory workforce programs. These programs aim to provide adult learners with the essential skills needed for entry-level employment and career advancement in high-demand construction trades.
Instruction includes core industry topics such as:

• Basic construction methods and safety protocols (e.g., OSHA standards)
• Blueprint reading and interpretation
• Measurement and layout techniques
• Tool and equipment identification, operation, and maintenance
• Workplace communication and teamwork
• Employability and problem-solving skills essential for success in today's construction field

Both day and/or evening teaching opportunities are available.
