Your place in our story

As a Labourer, you will support the Construction Team with delivering on Minto’s construction from excavation through to completion. Contribute to an exceptional customer experience and maintain schedules, while upholding Minto’s core values.

Here’s how you’ll contribute 

• Safety is the top priority in all daily activities.
• Clean elevator tracks on all floors daily
• Clean and keep corridors clear of debris of any obstructions
• Assist with traffic control as needed on site
• Must have your own vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Receive and unload deliveries to site
• Maintains cleaning supplies and tools at the site office;
• Cleans litter and trash around the grounds of the property
• General labour duties: clean up of suites, eliminates excess debris left over from the trades;
• Clean up of site office regularly as needed
• General construction labour, including job site clean-up and moving materials
• Ensures all Minto staff and trades partners abide by Ministry of Ontario Labour regulations and Minto’s Health & Safety Policies;
• Bring attention to any health and safety concerns to project management.
• Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested by management

What you bring to the team

• A High School Diploma is an asset
• Training as a Signaller and Traffic Control Person is an asset 
• Ability to understand and read labels of cleaning products as well as, knowledge of cleaning procedures
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills (listening, verbal)
• Dependability/Reliable
• Adaptability/Flexibility
• Time Management and Organizational skills

Hiring pay range: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
