RDH are gearing up for a major pipeline of civil works starting in January 2026 and we’re recruiting now for experienced Project Managers & Senior Project Engineers to help deliver them.
From intersections and acceleration lanes on to major highways in the Pilbara to regional road upgrades to mine site earthworks and roadworks to a complex multi-discipline landfill cell, plus flood-damage repairs, you’ll lead quality works that keep WA moving.

Our projects span from small civil construction to large projects in the civil and mining sector; such as detailed roadworks, earthworks, subdivisions, tailings dams, airport construction and major highway upgrades. RDH tenders projects, in the range of $2m and $45m.
About the Role:
You will be a seasoned leader with a passion for driving successful projects from inception to completion. Reporting to our Projects Director; as a Project Manager, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient execution of projects while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Project Manager, Full Time permanent ongoing
- Regional FIFO / DIDO arrangements to site, pending location
- Location: various sites and scopes around regional WA as required for each civil project
- Our projects span across Pilbara, Goldfields, Midwest, Gascoyne, Wheatbelt
Key Responsibilities - Lead and coordinate civil construction projects—bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage and other site development tasks
- Oversee project planning, budgets, schedules and resource management
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and contractual standards
- Liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, subcontractors and clients
- Support and mentor project teams, ensuring alignment with RDH’s values and goals
- Provide regular project updates to the Project Director and department leads
- Quality assurance and risk management
- Management of project reporting to client specifications and RDH contract requirements
- Management of RDH systems to conform with our IMS
About You: - Ideally possess tertiary qualifications; project management and/or civil engineering degree
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in civil construction project management/budgeting experience
- 3 - 5+ years managing civil construction projects in regional WA
- A deep understanding of construction materials, methodologies & technology, as well as engineering principles.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, codes and best practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of SWMS
- Knowledge of Main Roads (MRWA) specifications & standards
- Demonstrated understanding of specifications & ability to derive ITPs from spec
- Forecast and budget review to project actuals
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical approach to problem-solving and proactive decision-making
- Ability to direct, motivate and lead while creating constructive relationships
- Ability to coordinate the project in its entirety and planning project deliverables
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Motivated and enthusiastic work ethic with a high degree of integrity
- Valid driver’s license (mandatory)
- White / Blue card (Construction Safety Induction)
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance
- Ability to complete full pre-employment medical and Drug & alcohol screening
